Wow, a must try! So glad to have this place close to home. I just heard about Oscar's recently so hubby and I went for an early dinner on a Saturday around 5. We had the truffle fries and deviled eggs for an appetizer and both were great! The truffle fries were fresh not frozen potatoes, what a difference. Our entree we split bacon wrapped shrimp alfredo and like any upscale restaurant they split it for us and served on two plates. Much appreciated! For dessert we wanted the creme brulee cheesecake but they were out so we had the creme brulee. I have to say it was so light and not super sweet which was perfect! I hope they keep up the great standard they have showed so far and if they do we will be regulars!

I waited a long time to write this review after our first visit when I realized that this is the first one that is not five stars. I really didn't want to be that guy, but to be honest and fair to everyone out there, this was not a five-star meal. Don't get me wrong- this is a great little restaurant, with the nicest people in the world working there, and some outstanding items on the menu. My wife's fish tacos were amazing, as was the giant meatball. But, my double smashburger was halfway between a regular burger and a smashburgerl. It didn't have the caramelized edges of a true smashburger, so it was an overcooked pair of patties. Still very good, but not five stars. The fries...just not great. I requested extra crispy, they came out limp and greasy. I sent them back and they came out... limp and greasy. Okay. We had heard so much about the deviled eggs, one of my favorites, but they were sold out. Can't fault them for that - the place was hopping. We look forward to coming back and we think every kink that we experienced will be worked out and then some. The place has only been open a few weeks and it's already one of the best restaurants along 105. Thank you Oscar and staff, you are a welcome addition to the Conroe/Montgomery food scene!

This was such a unexpected experience. I've seen post on social media about this little gem. I decided to give it a try today. Small location, but I think it is perfect for them. Amazing customer service. Their "Welcome in" was genuine and not forced or fake sounding. The menu was simple yet complex dishes. I ordered the pork belly Ruben, customized to my taste. It was prepared perfectly to my liking. I will definitely return.

Wonderful experience. From walking in, to sitting down, to eating and leaving. Everything was great. Our server, I believe, spelled Alessi (Forgive me if I butchered it) was wonderful and very attentive to our table. Low on drinks, she got it! Food is very tasty! My daughter had the kids alfredo, my friend had the chicken a&m, and I had the fish tacos. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée cheesecake! Super rich, soft, and airy! If I'm in the area again, I will likely come back by. Thanks for a great dining experience!

What a treat! Cozy and delicious sum up our experience here! Alexis was our Server and did an excellent job. We started off with the Deviled Eggs. So good! Then we split the Chicken A & M. Tender and very tasty! Keep up the great work!

The wife and I drove in from Hunstville to try Oscar’s Bistro this evening. Everything we had was fabulous. Had the fried cheese and the meatball apps, both very good. The fried cheese is a very big portion too. Wife had the goat cheese & fig burger which she very much enjoyed. I went with the coconut & macadamia nut crusted chicken tenders and had to try one of his fish tacos since they were on special $2.95 a piece for taco Tuesday. Really good stuff and very reasonable pricing. The cheesecake is also to die for.

We were welcomed when we walked in & were able to choose our own seats! It’s a small restaurant, but they did a great job spacing out the seating while providing as much seating as possible without making it feel cramped. The service was great & the food was even better. We ordered the cheese sticks for an appetizer.. they were the best cheese sticks I’ve EVER had. They’re more like logs.. not your average cheese sticks. Their homemade marinara, & ranch, were served with the cheese sticks. I ordered the ‘special of the day’, which was fish & chips. It was absolutely phenomenal. The fish was ultra tender & juicy (cooked to perfection), & the breading on it was perfect. My friend ordered the fig & goat cheese burger which was definitely different, but also delicious! I’d never think to put fig & goat cheese on a burger, but it works. The sweet potato fries were excellent as well. Can’t wait to return! I definitely recommend checking out this place. When I return, I’ll be trying their famous Baja tacos!

We had an incredible dining experience at Oscar’s Bistro! The filtered water was a refreshing touch with our terrible tap water, and the menu options were diverse and exciting. The flavors were outstanding, especially in the OG Ahi Tuna and the Berry Peach salad with grilled chicken—both the chicken and tuna were grilled to absolute perfection. Our waitress, Karlee, was pleasant, attentive, and quick to handle our requests with a smile. It’s so refreshing to have a new restaurant in Montgomery that isn’t Mexican food. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and will be back many times! Highly recommend! PS: Loved the Deviled Eggs
